Businesses rely on AI agents for customer interactions, but most sound robotic and generic. Cloneify set out to change that, making it easy to craft an AI personality that truly represents your brand.

Making complex AI setup feel effortless
Each screen was carefully crafted to simplify AI agent configuration. Users can set up a fully personalized voice agent in minutes. Choosing tone, defining responses, and previewing conversations before going live.

Where it all started
Cloneify was born from the idea that AI agents shouldn’t sound like robots, they should sound like your brand.
The goal was to design a mobile-first experience that lets anyone create, customise, and deploy a personalised AI voice agent, no technical expertise required.
Process
Exploring voice AI interactions and user expectations.
Understanding how people interact with AI voices was key. I explored existing voice assistants, studied conversation patterns, and identified what makes an AI feel natural versus scripted.
Focus areas:
- 1. Define what makes an AI voice feel authentic and trustworthy.
- 2. Design intuitive flows for agent setup and customisation.
Design execution
Bringing voice AI to life through thoughtful UI.
Working closely with the development team, I translated complex voice AI capabilities into clean, approachable interfaces, from agent persona creation to real-time call recording and AI-generated summaries.
Key Learnings
- Design for trust. When users hand conversations to an AI, they need to feel in control. Guardrails and preview features were essential to building that confidence.
- Prototype with real interactions. Static mockups couldn't capture the feel of a voice AI product, so building interactive prototypes was critical for testing and iteration.
- Embrace new tools. Building the voice interaction flows pushed me to use Claude for rapid prototyping, which led to faster iteration and more polished results.
